WEIGHT LOSS SOLUTION: IT DIDN'T LOOK SO HARD ON TV
Most exercise machines and gadgets purchased through infomercials are considerably more difficult to operate at home than they appear to be in the commercial. Once the machine arrives, you can't figure it out. It doesn't look the same way it did on the infomercial; it bob flimsy. Many are nearly impossible to assemble and use. I have been in the fitness industry for more than sixteen years and have been presented with equipment that I have absolutely no idea how to assemble and operate. The instructions are vague, confusing, and many times incomplete. Consequently, the machine sits there, collecting dust, providing service as a clothes rack, taking up room - a constant reminder that you wasted your money. You feel duped. It's depressing. These products are always presented as inexpensive. Rarely is the total price highlighted; rather, you see 39.95 dollars in three easy payments plus shipping and handling. This ends up costing you more than 140 dollars. That is a good deal of money and far more than is necessary to spend to create an effective exercise plan. In addition, much of this equipment is potentially unsafe.
We explored the power of positive visualization. But negative visualization can also have an impact - one that you'll want to avoid. Seeing these dud products in your home becomes a negative visual, a constant reminder of your failure once again at weight loss. You spent money and derived no benefit. Do yourself a big favor. Throw out that piece of exercise equipment sitting in your bedroom, basement, or garage. If it's a safe piece of machinery, donate it, get the tax deduction, and save some money. Get rid of the reminder that you spent money and failed at weight loss. I want only positive reminders and positive energy to flow through your home.
